amedman3
After reading the review by By-Tor (http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=10733), I am now 100% confused. I had assumed all the Omega Lemenia Moon watches were the same size. Now I am not sure. Pugwash’s review of the PT one claims its 40mm. By-Tor measured his to be 38mm. First I am very familiar with the real Omega items: Moon (3570.50) is 42mm. Reduced (3510.50) is 37mm. I have gone to the AD a few times and compared them side by side and IMHO the reduced looks like a kid watch next to its big brother. I love the size of the 3570.50 and do not want the reduced. Which of the following are Moon and which are “reduced”? Paul http://www.wo-mart.com/product_info.php?ma...products_id=297 Andrew http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...products_id=535 King http://www.cclv.net/OMEGA-054.htm Precious Time (Pugwash Review) http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=8035
Pugwash
Precious Time (Pugwash Review) http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=8035 That one is Full Moon, not Reduced. *Pugwash inspiredly puts his Moon Watch on.*
amedman3
Pugwash So there are two sizes? 38mm (as reviewed by Bytor) and 40mm (your review)?

retep
Pugwash So there are two sizes? 38mm (as reviewed by Bytor) and 40mm (your review)? But these are 2 different watches. One is the moonwatch with wrong sub dial spacing and one is a hybrid between the reduced and the moonie. Imo not the same at all.
By-Tor
Yep. What Retep said. I'm not quite sure what that rep is supposed to be... but it's a damn nice looking Speedy... I tried to explain in my review that this rep is a hybrid. I have never seen the gen reduced Speedy so I can't compare them... the rep is most likely a bit bigger. PS: That Paul's watch that you posted is the same rep as mine. Confused? I'm not surprised... and to make it even more complicated... there's still one rep version: He also sells a version that has numeral "10 second" markings on the dial... just like on genuine "reduced". Check it here. Otherwise it looks exactly the same as the watch I reviewed. Edited September 14, 2006 by By-Tor

IMO, all these chrono reps, although admirable in quality, are easy to tell apart from the gen versions due to the completely different dial / movement chrono layout. you don't even have to have a trained eye. amedman3
Ok I think I got it. I have been looking at dealer pics and now I see many differences. Reduced second hand is shorter. Reduced has no accent over the e in Tachymetre. Metal outside ring of the reduced exhibition back is thinner then moon’s. The face of the moon and reduced look to be the same size but the moon’s rehault is slanted in to make up the room of the bigger case. So it appears Paul and King are reduced. PT and Andrew are full size moons. Are you guys aware of any other vendors selling the full size moon?
amedman3
Oh and baring the subdial issue, the full size moon is almost exactly like the picture on Omega’s webpage. I want one.

Thats the only good conclusion. I ordered one several months ago from el and am wearing it at the moment. Looks like this (picture from el`s photobook)
baltic
I've had an EL full size Moon watch for over a year. I'ts been serviced by The Zigmeister and the 6 o'clock subbial has been frozen. It's probably my favourite watch and one I'd never get rid of.
