gran Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 TY2940 (ST1940 = "Venus175" with Autowinding added) from Sea-Gull Will this be useful in any replicas, or do the subdial position need to be modified to be truly useful?
slickdick Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Autowind is always usefull. Got a few manuals and they seem to get less and less wrist time.
RWG Technical Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Interesting that they copied the autowinder design from the Zenith El Primero...

Ronin Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 The question now is, how does the subdial spacing factor in?
southcoast68 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 And also the question of how thin this movement is and what case(s) it can be used in?
chrgod Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Interesting stuff! I was hoping that they had included a hour counter for the chronograph. Could not find any information about it when searching on the net.. It seems like the 6 o'clock counter only is following the main hour hand. Seagulls page
slickdick Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 As far as i can tell its the same so called lemania copy except it has the autowinder. Very common moevment in the rep world (sance autowinder).

z3k0 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Are there any technical information/schemes available for these movements (ST-190x, ST-1940 and like) ? Is there any source for spare parts ? regards
