projectologist
I purchased this project last year and sold it to a close friend a few months later. The understanding was as soon as he needed some cash, I could buy it back. I like it when a watch this so well-built can be shared with others. Rolex offered the 1680 with a choice of either a T39 or T127 plexi, I opted for the T39 sans cyclops. This one came with both One of the best 1680 Single Red ref. posts... lots of great photos... http://rolex.watchpr...post/ti-481641/ A couple of pics of a 70's era watch with a pair of shades from the same decade. My wife collects vintage shoes... I collect vintage sunglasses Zigmeister relume and pearl.

alligoat
Looks good. The T-39 certainly gives it a different look- I'd love to see a profile of the crystal.
