Interesting, has a lot in common with a V72 maybe an early version and maybe not a Rolex ... Can you give us more info, do you have the case with it and where do you source it...?

How many subdials in front? Looks like a Valjoux 22 or 71 to me. I've no idea if it's really a Rolex movement, though.

Also, the pushers and crown suggest a Rolex 2508, but the lugs don't. If genuine, the watch may be one of the reference numbers (<4500) listed here.

It sure looks like a Venus 178.

(I have one from an older Breitling)

Manual wind, triple register. I always meant to see if a Rolex Cosmograph dial (excluding footdials) would fit.

The problem with the V22/71 is that it's a 14 ligne movement. The V23/72 is 13-1/4 ligne. So you can't fit a V22 in anything made for a V23.

If you only have the movement and no dial or case, you're pretty much stuck to using it for spare parts or selling it.
