asf
quick iphone pics. got it from Josh today. I gotta say, the quickset date is snappy. the CG pin needs a mod for sure. Some of you have felt my DSN 111H and know how HARD it snaps and opens. The CG lever only so slightly pokes out a bit at the part it connects with the pin. redwatch
Looking pretty good k! Are you happy with this one? Your 111 is ridiculously tight
asf
Yeah it's pretty nice even with all the speculation of a not real new 7753. The transition from 59sec to 1 min is smoooth and seamless on the chrono hand

babola
Very nice work, asimplefarmer! So it appears this time they replicated the bracelet as close to 1:1 as possible, so the bracelet is 24/20mm? Major improvement over the older rep bracelet that was available only in 24/24mm. thanks! Watchmeister
Looking really good. Fit and finish seems a real cut above the past. So I guess there is an element of pot luck on the CG's. Yours looks good.
asf
The bracelet is 24/20. @watchmeister: I think one needs to take advantage of the qc that the dealers offer now. The first set of photos sent to me had the CG not fit as flush to the case.

babola
Not trying to hijack this great thread...but I'm just off the IM with one of the dealers who confirmed the factories have currently run out of correct casebacks for PAM236 and will be using Kxxxx/1000 for the time being until the new Kxxx/500 casebacks with sequential numbers will be made. ETA is now about 2 weeks time. The PAM196 also comes with the wrong Hxxx/500 casebacks, and the correct batch (Hxxxx/1500) is already in production, so no sweat...these are also ETA 2 weeks. Also, it is confirmed the correct PAM250 Kxxxx/2800 caseback WILL NOT be produced. However, the rep PAM250 is simply a PAM236 with the leather/rubber strap...so no drama cheers! redwatch
and wristie: K that's looking really great! Is it very heavy? Forgive my noob question, but why the loctite on all the bracelet screws? Are these known to fall off easily?
asf
I loctite all my bracelet screws just not not have problems. I once had a v3 skyland avenger grey dial almost fall off my wrist when inwas washing my hands. I found the screw to the bracelet on the tile floor. Atleast with this loctite it's removable with some strength. This watch is pretty heavy none the less. Still like it

swdivad
I must have missed it in a thread, but does the new bracelet taper from 24mm to 22mm?
babola
I must have missed it in a thread, but does the new bracelet taper from 24mm to 22mm? 24mm at the lugs to 20mm at the clasp, just as gen :-)

This is Quality Check photo from Josh using this new Kxxxx/1000 caseback. On the other hand this CB has Officine Panerai logo which is not shown on Kxxx/500. It is better to decide what to have: logo or correct numbering since gen has both. babola
It is better to decide what to have: logo or correct numbering since gen has both. True...I'm on a correct numbering side though, as the Kxxxx/1000 belongs to a Daylight with white dial (PAM251), and absence of logo doesn't bother me much
PolonusTM
both dials have incorrect "STAINLESS STEEL" letter spacing. Kxxxx/1000 has better "100m" and smaller fish symbol, closer to the gen. Well, maybe, since the engraving is so deep I can sand off just Kxxxx/1000 serial, polish whole caseback GEN style and then laser engrave correct serial number again? I will try it, I guess... nakortheblue
Are gen bracelets supposed to be 24/24 or 24/20?
mastrmindalliance
It looks to me like these are new bracelets too... Seem thicker (front to back - not width) than the last generation. Can anyone confirm this?
