Ronin
As many of you know I am a huge Seiko fan. I presently have two Titanium (Asian market only) Samurai's. My Blue Sammy, was a "go to" watch, for its "do all, go anywhere" capabilities. However, with wearing a watch, comes the occasional ding or scratch. Especially Sekio/Citizen Ti that scratches if you look at it funny. It was decided, lets give this watch a well deserved refreshing. Using the Omega Titanium Refinishing pad (Ofrei), fiberglass scratch brush (Ofrei), and 1500 grit wet/dry sand paper, the Ti restored to like new. Also, Seiko uses "Hardlux" crystals in most of their sport watches instead of the tougher more scratch resistant Sapphire. I acquired a Sapphire, slight dome, AR Crystal from Yobokies. Below are the results. Before: Scratched lugs, bracelet and original hardlux crystal LUG SCRATCHED AT 5:00 BEFORE Bracelet Desk Divers BEFORE ORIGINAL CRYSTAL After : Sapphire AR dome crystal Refinished case and bracelet little squiggle is dust... No more big scratch @ 5: lug, New Crystal installed Lume Re-Finished product. Full on direct sunlight - "FIGHT THE POWER!!!" Direct Sunlight!!! Gorgeous dial, shape-shifter. Back in the shade, love the slight dome. Titanium while it scratches easy, also restores easily! Thanks for looking.

Ronin
Thanks guys. I am really digging the Yobokies AR Crystal on this with the slight dome. It really makes this a unique Sammy now. And sapphire gives it a higher quality appearance to boot. In the winder BEFORE, it was just there minding its own business. Now, after the clean up and crystal swap it screams 'check me out'.

Ronin
Can we see a side profile shot with the domed crystal? As soon as I get some time I will snap a pic or two, unless below will suffice. The very last picture shows the slight dome nicely. To note: The dome simply rises to the level of the bezel. It does not rise above the bezel (which is actually a good thing IMHO for protection). Here is a picture of a NON-DOME / ORIGINAL Hardlux crystal. Notice how the crystal is flat and about a mm BELOW the bezel. (Borrowed photo - not of my watch) If you can see in this photo, the slight doming. Leveling up to the bezel. (Time permitting I will get a side shot)
