JohnCocktosten Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 I've been periodically searching for a gen 7205 bracelet for a 6239 for a bit. I find an auction on the Bay for a 17mm 7205 bracelet with 67 end links. When I look at the pics the bracelet was dirty but looked to me like 57. Not being smart enough to not take a chance, I bid about half of what I was thinking I would have to spend ($150), figuring I wouldn't win. A bit of stretch, but otherwise in reasonable condition for 40 years old. Needs a run in the ultrasonic but it fits like a glove.
Mapman57 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Congratulations......sounds like a steal to me. Keep a low profile until the heat dies down and the search is called off ! Hope we get to see the assembled piece quite soon?
freddy333 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 I hate to be the sole black cloud on your parade, but, unless your '17' was a typo, the 62xx Daytonas require 19mm widths. Still, it looks like a nice bracelet if you have something that it fits.
jmb Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 The 31mm "mid-size" Tudor cases take a 17mm...
Dizzy Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 I bought a rivet for my 6265 and i love it!!! I got mine for $100 plus shipping. I find a lot of times people have filed down the end links from 19mm to 18 or 17mm. That may be what they are measuring. 7205 with a 57 is a 19mm bracelet as far as i know.
nakortheblue Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 I've got a 7835 with 57 ELs. The ELs don't quite fit the lugs, they are not high enough.
Dizzy Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 My endlinks fit perfect on the DW case!!
