JoJo35
Been tinkering around with one of my daily beaters, and finally got it to the point where I wouldn't be embarrassed to wear it. What started out as a WM9 TT has evolved very nicely. With the skilled help of my good friend RG, the watch now has a newly serviced swiss 2836-2 that came out of one of my early purchases. I can't remember exactly which watch the movement came out of, but I do know that it was from an old school MBW that I had modded a long time ago with a 1570 motor. Other than the swiss movement, the watch has a gen 18k bezel, a gen 18k crown and tube, a gen retainer ring, gen crystal gasket, a gen crystal, and a gen D series "flat 4 and open 5" superluminova insert that matches perfectly with the gen D series gilt dial (oval O, five tics, etc). Here's a few quick pics, enjoy:

www_watch
That dial is a stunner. Did you polish the rehaut? If anything... then that would look a bit too shiny for my taste.
JoJo35
Thanks Freddy! I know it's not like one of your 6542's, but building this one was a hell of a lot easier than trying to find a set of GMT gears for my 1030!
vlydog
Stunning B! Gold doesn't suit my fancy but this one turned out great. Wear it in good health.
Dizzy
WOW thats a nice dial... stock WM9? I didnt see you as a modern Rolex wearing kinda guy after seeing all your vintage builds, but this is a beautiful watch and its also on my list of projects. I see you went with the 18kt tube.. VERY nice touch, but watch out for those soft threads!
