ubiquitous
Boy, you sure have to hope it's the 3.0mm x .35 tap which is standard for all of the 6mm and 7mm tubes. There's no way that the tube for this thing is going to be the same diameter as a standard 7030. The stem is the usual tap 10 size... And look how big the barrel is around the base for the stem. Compare to a 7mm: Granted, the pic is of an aftermarket 702, the sizes are the same as gen...
donerix
I will go and measure mine now .... 3.95mm diameter and 3.5mm for 10 rings of the thread. So I am assuming you need a 4.0mm 0.35 tap Experts can you please confirm that and maybe also tell us: WHERE WE CAN BUY IT
Jimster
If I recall correctly it's a Tap 7 which should be 1.2mm Oops - i thought you were talking stem size.
JoeyB
The 7mm Rolex Brevet Crown tube I got from Davidsen measures 3.8mm.
donerix
Went tap hunting today and found the 3mmx.35 and the 4mmx.35 (for the 8mm crown, I took it with me and had them measure it), I found them at Dewitt Tools, 6550 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami, 305-8881450.
