Improving replica bracelet(s).

Low Note

I experimented a product I found, "Flitz" metal polish. Many new bracelets are very stiff, so I tried working the Flitz into the links and then flexing and twisting them. The polish quickly creates the equivalent of a couple years of use, freeing up the stiff links and making it feel much more silky. I used this (extensively) on a Yuki 7206 and it already feels decades old. You can rub it over rough edges and smooth them down, but it will polish the link faces as you do... so you'll have to brush them again when you're done.

VERY interesting that you mention this. I just used a liquid metal polish soaking and flexing on my Yuki 7602 also. I wanted to wear the inside of the links like you said, to mimic tens of years of wear. Mine is super stiff as all the links are jammed together from the springs. I worked it for a few min then threw it into the ultrasonic. Still stiff though.

How long did you grind away on yours for? I want mine nice and loose.

Got pics????? :Jumpy:
