cougaree Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Guys, I've read the wonderful review on it, but it was done in 2007. I'm wondering four years later, is this watch still considered as super rep and a high quality watch. Any thoughts?
cougaree Posted February 26, 2011 Author Report Posted February 26, 2011 I'm thinking the case maybe good to drop in a gen ETA 7750 movt.
subbiesrock Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 If you read 'help I'D this 'Ling for me' in the Breitling section, we have a look at a GT, and it ain't good...
cougaree Posted February 26, 2011 Author Report Posted February 26, 2011 That's the cheap kind. I'm thinking about this one http://www.1-pc8838.com/bl02008-bentley-brushed-ssle-white-asia-7750-28800bph-p-2651.html Just click on it twice.
Rolexman Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 You probably are referring to my review. It's a great watch! Give it some AR and new date wheels and you have a 98% perfect rep. Cross the 't's on de back and you're as good as there . Mark
PeteM Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 I look forward to seeing the new one

Or any of them !!!
andreww Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Always thought the sliderule insert on the rep was just way to wide. I can spot the rep in half a second and there's nothing you can do to fix it.
cougaree Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Posted March 3, 2011 This watch is not perfect. I assume the slide rule has the same flaw (too wide and not all align) as what's on the Navitimer Serie Special. The crystal probably rotates, whivh is too bad. What about the general construction of the watch? Is the slide rule smooth and tight? Does the crown tube have enough threads? For some reason I really like the white dial version.
plaifender Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Might be a good quality rep, but not a very accurate one. Definitely not a super rep. In the breitling line.. super reps include: Superocean Steelfish Superocean Heritage Skyland Avenger (and Skyland Avenger Blacksteel) Super Avenger (Super Avenger Blacksteel) Seawolf The next tier would probably include the Chronomat EVO, but I consider it a step below the above reps.
Revano Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 The next tier would probably include the Chronomat EVO, but I consider it a step below the above reps. Depends which version you get. They can be as spot on as a super reps.
