Guest chronomat123
Get her a real watch. Spend a little extra and track down a TAG S/El with the pink dial. I gave mine to my sister and she loves it. Women, from my experience, take terrible care of watches. A TAG is a perfect watch for your woman, and you can pick one up off the 'Bay for $400 or so. My GF refuses to let me buy her a watch, but she does fancy my genuine Rolex GMT and my MBW Sub. Whenever I let her wear my Sub, she tells me "if [the bezel] were pink, i would die" chicks and pink... otherwise, River's PP 24 looks damn nice

She loves it. I'm not usually a fan of Daytonas as I associate them with blokes with hairy chests and medallions, so the irony of the girly one is quite entertaining. Febus
Chanel Ceramic quartz J12 in black is quite accurate but it's quartz I'm getting my girlfriend an Explorer I which is a mid-size watch following the trend for women to wear larger watches. Think the ETA version is meant to be pretty accurate.
r11co
Chanel Ceramic quartz J12 in black is quite accurate but it's quartz Do you really think that sort of thing matters to most women? You know in your heart of hearts that quartz makes more sense anyway...

Not at all, when I said to my girlfriend 'but it's a quartz' she looked at me as if I was speaking in tongues and said 'but it looks so nice'. Thus why she's got one. Golfman
Chanel Ceramic quartz J12 in black It's the one i 'am going to offer to my wife for Xmas. dcrooz
Do you really think that sort of thing matters to most women? You know in your heart of hearts that quartz makes more sense anyway... Certainly true as far as women are concerned (the one's I've spoken to anyway). I got my wife THIS Cartier Santos TT and it is a great looking watch. The font in the dial is thinner on the rep but that was the only really obvious flaw (she actually preferredthe rep!) we saw when doing a side by side at the AD window! Of course it's Quartz but she doesn't care, keeps great time. Much better than her gen Chopard (£5k) which keeps stopping and starting

Any ideas? preferably NOT Rolex (too common) and NO Diamonds (too blingy) Thanks Joe The perfect watch for any women is not the most accurate watch. What you want it a watch that gains about 30 minutes a day. That way, there is a better chance that they will be on time....... --Doc

gioarmani
My girl always liked the Rados & the Movados. Simplistic in their operation & beauty; like Japanese or Scandanavian design, only delicate looking enough to be truly feminine.
Craytonic
My girlfriend really doesn't understand my refusal to buy her either of the 2 cartier watches she likes because they are quartz...
Defender110
GET her the Hermes H-our from Trusty with diamonds.. either the smallsize or the larger mid.. trust me the women love this watch and its inexpensive and accurate and is swiss quartz just like gen. i have given this one to my girl and she is in love and shows it to all her friends and they all know who Hermes is and they all love the watch and they all want one too... strap is acceptable on the small size but i would try to replace the strap on the larger size.. j
Defender110
ps -you can also get it without diamonds. also better check with your girl first as mine hates roman numerals so they may not like some of the ones you are looking at... :-) also...@fitmic... that pink site is disusting! j
jeff g
I have gotten my wife 5 or 6 reps over the years. The ones she prefers most of the 5 she currently wears are the Cartiers She too, has the Santos 2 tone, as well as a Tank SS. She also really likes the Omega Constellation. She doesn't like the quality or feel of the Ladies Yachtmaster. And her latest new rep, the Tag Ladies Link, is just ok. My feeling is that the quality on the bracelet of the constellation could be much better. But its a nice watch. For the money (value) the Cartier's are hard to beat. Logan
Check out the womens models in most genuine brands.. you will find a whole lot of quartz movements. Simple reason.. they sell better. 99% of women couldn't care less what movement is inside.. and in fact hate the idea of having to reset the time if they leave it off for a weekend. If your girlfriend loves a quartz rep but it for her.. she'll love it. The real one is probably available in quartz anyway.
Linder
Luckily for me, Mrs. Linder preferred the larger J12 so she got the watch and I got the sweeping second hand
JosePR
want more pink, here is a local site www.pornosento.net Best Rep for a chick, the $500 ceramic chanel with box and high quality ceramic. The bad thing... its going to stop being a chic fashion watch soon. TAG originals and technomarine for sportier chick are good and cheap for women, and as another guy said, they are good if the girl does not take good care of watches. My last option would be a rep cartier, girls just love cartiers, simple as that

If your girlfriend loves a quartz rep but it for her.. she'll love it. The real one is probably available in quartz anyway. I was going to say the same thing. Women, most...not all, would hate to have to wind a watch and then reset it because it stops. With the exception of Rolex, most watch makers have a quartz option in almost every womens model. I personally feel there is nothing wrong with a quartz movement, especially for a woman. Of course I, like many of us, prefer an mechanical/automatic movement but then I spend 2 hours a day surfing these forums and own more watches than I'll ever wear. Point is, to say one shouldn't buy a watch for their special lady friend because it's quartz is silly. You might suggest it but I bet more often than not they'll look at you like your crazy. MJP
Get her a real watch. Girls show thier stuff off more. Get her the real thing. If she feally wants a fake, Patek Philip--the rectangular diamond model is a classic.
