True-Stu
Geesh, Murphy's law. I just got another offer on a watch I've been waiting on for a long time, so in the immortal words of Rosanna Rosanna-Danna..."never mind." OK Richard, I've been on the sidelines hemming and hawing about whether to get this watch. I will now join the party, if you will have me. Count me in! Regards, Stu

I will now join the party, if you will have me. Count me in! Regards, Stu Hey Stu,... I just noticed your retraction... Whew.. this is the most labor intensive Group buy ever.... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Linkubora.... There was no EL's list before it was snagged prematurely... I had to move several people because of that happenstance... however if there is some reason you need to be with EL, Please let me know... Otherwise, it's the exact same watch from a dealer who just as efficient and customer friendly...
Logan
Thanks for all the work on this.. Its obviously been pretty labour intensive but I'm sure we all appreciate the effort that went into this. I've arranged thigns with Eddie and am eagerly awaiting the watch in the next week or so. dachshund
If someone wants to take my place on the group purchase there is a spot open, I made payment to Eddie and he did not want to ship to Texas and I don't want to go to the hassle of shipping to someone else then forwarding. Hope someone takes advantage, its a super nice watch.

However there is an option... Get a refund then go to Jay....and I will take up the slack on EL's end... problem solved... We need to keep our projected numbers on line, in order to qualify for our discounts, otherwise every person who already paid will have received their low price unjustified, which will kill future group buys, leaving us with full retail prices from now on... Richard Tracy
There have been a number of customs confiscations at the Dallas branch so EL has had some issues RT.... Hmm,.. Okay but Jay is able to ship to several places where EL cannot,.. Once Dachshund contacts Jay, and receives a no go,.. then I will have no choice but to open up a slot,.. Jay's Contact E-mail; silixprime@gmail.com I hope everyone understands why I have to limit the time openings of Group Buys.... I will explain for those that are not aware.... When we do this, we effectively take money out of the pockets of several dealers, who would normally be charging full price on new release watches. What I do is open a temporary portal, to discounts, however I cannot keep it open for long and I hope you can now see why. Our dealers frequent our boards, supply us with first class customer service return, replacement, customs seizure guarantees, plus listen to our many gripes and suggestions, so in return we need to make sure, that we do not kill what makes this board of interest to them as well.... Devedander
I hope everyone does understand because group buys provide and awesome benefit to the community, and it wouldn't take much to screw them up. In all fairness this GB has been a good deal for Jay on my part because I am now buying 2 more watches from him at the same time (since he has good prices and it will save on shipping and WU fees) so it really worked how a sale should work. I hope the new customers being opened up to silix and EL will rememberit and be encouraged to buy more and support the dealers so these GB become more valuable for the dealers also! dachshund
Richard Tracy Jay replied, payment has bee sent to Jay, so all is well in rep land. Jay also promised to send a second item if first did not make it thru. Have never purchased from Jay before, that will prob change. As for Eddie, he told me that 8 of his last 9 that had been shipped to Texas had been taken by customs, don't blame Eddie for his decision not to ship to Texas, but if he doesn't find an inovative method of shipping it will wind up costing him a lot of business from the community. Devedander
Is it just Eddie or customs in Texas in general? Maybe it will take some creative relaying of watches within the US for Texans from now on

Hi Dachshund.... Thanks for the report, Glad that things are looking up for you ! Yes,.. Jay is a Top Notch Dealer and person, and I don't blame Eddie at all,..a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.. So forgive me if I'm just dumb. But I'm on EL's list. How much am I supposed to pay? The price is $199 to EL,... however if you could donate $5 to the board as well, to even it out for everyone and help our home, that would be great !
