DSSD Caseback

Not sure the sticky ball will work on the DSSD because of the two-piece-caseback...

The duct tape sticky ball is not as effective as the Horb Rubber ball opener.. but can be done as long as the sticky ball you make is as big as the outer ring of the case back. I had a hard time with the sticky ball and ended up getting an Horb and use it to open all my screw down casebacks now.

Could try letting some air out.

For the dssd i originally used a glass jar opener - which is circular piece of rubber about 2mm thick - looks like a circular rubber drink coaster and can be bought from kitchen shop/dept stores etc. Laying it flat over the back, and gripping/turning the ring with thumb and side of forefinger

very grippy :)

I've used this method lots of times after seeing this video. Works on my 116610 not on my new 116660 :(. I used leather gloves braced myself and torqued soooooo hard with the scissors that the blades were bending. No use didn't budge... I think there is something wrong glued. Cross threaded welded?
