who from RWG posted the replica Panerai buying guide on YouTube?

What a retard... The title for those interested is 'Replica Panerai watch' at the 'Tube.

Things like this put a lot of heat on the forums and dealers and is just unnecessary. The man has an Australian accent. His mispronunciation of three of the four companies he mentioned screams 'moron', and I doubt he is a member of RWG. The most recent video comment IS probably from one of our forum colleagues though :)

It was not good form referencing the replica forum site, but the enthusiasm of the video just points out some obvious points why to buy a rep. instead of a gen. Don't get your panties in a fankle (TTK's old familiar saying)! The guy is a member of both RWG1.1 and here, the YT post is already old from Oct.26, 2010, a member on RWG1.1 just noticed and somehow the news just filtered to this forum only today since a lot of members are also members on both forums if not all rep.forums. The fact is, the dealer mentioned in the video, is not a trusted dealer on this forum but is only on RWG1.1. Several forum members asked him to remove all reference links to RWG1.1, (not this website rwgforum) in the YT comments which was done in the last 12 hours. Since his identity was posted at RWG1.1, and the admin is on the warpath, he'll get the hint to remove the video altogether. Good luck. 8)

IMO, it's different when the dealers post videos and users post videos.

Dealers do it so there's a value-add to their service and QC process. It reassures the consumer and at the same time gives a good idea what we're getting into.

I honestly can't think of any good reason for a user to post a guide like that and invite more scrutiny to the forum. And broadcasting the name of the forum is just silly.

Actually it's not good that the dealers post online either, but they don't reference the forums. This clown referenced the forum directly, which is a big no no
