New Silver Date Wheel Installed on my MBW 1680

This is a Eurotimez DW. It's very nice with flat 3's, open 6's and 9's and the right size font, which centers well in the date window, but the silver finish is polished and very reflective. I don't think it's usable as is. I sprayed the overlay with flat clear lacquer and got this result, which I think is very good. It's not a brushed finish, but my eyes aren't that good enough to see the brushing anyway

Looks good to me Marty. I've got the same ETZ DW which I plan on putting on a 2846 and sticking in my MBW 1680 if I can ever figure out what to do with the red sub dial. ByTor has got me to the point where I can't stand to look at the MBW red sub dial!
