(This version "Requires" Firewire or the wall-wart to recharge) Still, these 15g/3rd Generations and the original Gum Pack Shuffles have the best iPod DAC's. You know, even Radio Shack sells batteries for these things now & it only takes a few minutes to swap them out. I also installed a firewire jack in my PC solely to be able to charge the iPod (I have a Kenwood system in 1 of my cars that has a charging iPod connector, which is very handy when the power is out) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
