One more GMT 1675

I just finished to build and shipped to its owner a new 1675 I have made, using the cartel 1655 case and aftermarket parts

- 1655 case with DG3804 Asian movement

- VSO classic 1675 complete bezel assembly

- Clark 25-116 crystal

- Andrew Shear dial

- Gen tube (Akira is waiting for a gen crown, right now the rep crown is matching)

As usual lug holes are drilled and gen Rolex springbars are used,

Akira will give you himself more details,

The dial is exceptional, never seen a so sharp dial, pics are not really good, this is the best one I have seen,

I've been around here for awhile, so pardon my ignorance, but what is the "cartel case" and are they all the same from the trusted dealers, or from which did this one come? How's that for a run-on sentence?

Andrew shear is not a name I've come accross before, any more information on that?

Andrew Shear is proprietor of ShearTime, and a very reliable source of genuine Rolex parts. I don't think he has anything to do with the "Shear Time"-branded Daytona dials that DW sells.

Congrats, F, and great work, RA!

Like it was said earlier Andrew Shear is a well known vintage Rolex dealer.

He sells watches via his website sheartime.com and single dials via ebay.

The 1655 caseback is wrong and needs to be flattened via machine, which is quite expensive.

Endlinks are the standard 1655 endlinks with cartel folded bracelet and I also have a rivet bracelet,

I traded from a member.

This thread pretty much gives you the info
