Jkay
Use the coupon code (in the image below) at check-out to get the $19 price .. SHIPPED http://www.meritline...---p-55402.aspx true 42Khz ultrasonic, not lame "vibrating" unit. I've bought two in the past and they are good stuff, from my experience. For best results, ignore the 5 minute auto-shut-off and run it a few times in a row. I normally use a 50/50 mixture of water and Windex (window cleaning fluid)

kbh
I bought one last month. It works great, particularly on the wife's jewelry. Highly recommend it for that price. Great to hear the Windex idea.

prdubis
You mean movements parts? Or crown, buckles, bezel, and so on? I would not have thought this kind of cleaner would be OK for tiny movement parts...
Hip Hop
This gets terrible reviews on Amazon UK...
kbh
It does a great job of cleaning watch bracelets. Gets all the funk from out of the links. In fact I've put in a couple of full watches and they come out sparkling clean. Just make sure they are waterproof. As Jkay said, you have to ignore the auto shut off and run it 2 or 3 times. Jkay
I do not take apart my watches, unless I want to break them I use this machine for bracelets and assorted jewelry. You would not believe how much black cloud comes out of a new bracelet. Factory grime and metal pieces.
Jkay
I would not have thought this kind of cleaner would be OK for tiny movement parts... I am no expert, but the forum watch techs on this board and others list "Ultrasonic cleaning of disassembled movement" on their movement service advertisements. offshore
Ultrasonics are fine for small, disassembled parts. We even sell small baskets- http://watchbitz.com...d&productId=365 http://watchbitz.com...d&productId=363 http://watchbitz.com...d&productId=364 to keep them together. I find putting cleaning fluid into a beaker with the parts, and then immersing that into water in the tank, still gives the cleaning required, and saves having to clean the bowl out after. Some white spirit or lighter fluid makes an excellent cleaner if you don't wish to buy proprietary products, or you can mix up your own cleaning fluid. Recipes for this have previously been discussed here. Offshore PS, That is a bloody good price for a small non commercial cleaner...someone has gone into a big order quantity to get a price like that ( Probably 100,000 units!) Jkay
They are normally $29. That coupon code is only good for 200 people's use. It goes on sale for 19 about once a month, tho.
