Hi guys

The suffix of a letter refers to the year of release.... I am sure its referenced in the OP mate but basically the 'A' suffix starts in 1997 and follows every year thereon... so 'B' 1998... 'C' 1999 etc

You may want to add two materials that, I believe are unique to Panerai watches:

Anthracite (089/091 dials)

Tantalum/Tantalium (192/172 cases)
