woof* Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 I love reading these Zig! Thanks for putting all the effort in.
shirotenshi Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 The small seconds hand is connected to a pinion on the 2nd wheel... The 3rd wheel is another wheel in the gear train. THanks for pointing it out
markiemark Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 Is this issue still a problem? Im considering a PAM112 N Noob with a UNITAS-6497-2
jtiis Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 I've been loosely hoovering in and around RWG for a few years (was more on RWI before and now hoover there). I just VIPed here - but this kind of post from the ZIg makes me say, "I have no idea who you are, but man you sknow your watch stuff. Definitely like the idea of you working on my wrist-art." As others have said, thanks for taking the time to share your insights with the rest of us. Photos don't get taken and cropped by themselves... a real service to our community Zig!
Jkay Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 "I have no idea who you are, but man you know your watch stuff." He's the only actual watch maker (i.e. he can fabricate gears and other parts from blank metal stock) I know of on the forum. Luckily his other hobby is Art (painting/drawing), so he's amazing with lume as well.
