GhostfaceZX Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 (edited) My most recent rep from King came in a nice-sized styrofoam box. The watch inside was bubble wrapped nicely and fit snugly inside the box. My previous orders from King as well as Josh and Andrew came in an EMS cardboard envelope with a bunch of bubble wrap around the watch. My Eddie Lee purchases have come in a small cardboard box with the watch bubble wrapped inside. Having heard of some users' horror stories with receiving watches with broken crystals, I'm pretty happy to see this amount of effort put into the packaging by King and Eddie Lee. I haven't ordered from Josh or Andrew recently, so I don't know how their current methods compare. Edited October 27, 2006 by GhostfaceZX

woody Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Maybe the Norwegian custom agents are high on IQ and can identify packages really good? I don't know....
mums-mums Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Maybe the Norwegian custom agents are high on IQ and can identify packages really good? I don't know.... Yepp, very high IQ. Like all Norwegians. :beta:
JosePR Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 arrived today. from joshua, bubblewrap big envelope, a strong white box, inside with the rep box ordered with the pretty watch inside
Watchmeister Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Envelopes, boxes all have bubble wrap. No two packages are the same - even from the same dealer. But all are reasonably well protected.
Logan Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Don't know about the rest of the world but down here its all x-rayed anyway.. but they only care about guns, drugs and bio material..

Everythingape Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I suggested to a dealer that he could ship the Rolex reps with a fake nose and glasses and declare it as "CEO Halloween Costume"
jfreeman420 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I saw on another board this is the exact reason these people got busted: Smuggle Me Elmo
WatchDude Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I think its been asked before, why couldn't a fugazi receipt be put in the box with proper letterhead / logos and call it warranty repair return? You know, I bought my watch from a boutique while in China and it stopped working. I sent it back to them and this is the "fixed product".
fotoman Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 this reminds me of the comments bricktop (oliver) used to give Bricktop - wow, haven't seen him in a while.
Dani Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 If you guys cant grasp why its stupid to talk about packed metods and shipping metods on a open forum then
Guest aclaimsman Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 If you guys cant grasp why its stupid to talk about packed metods and shipping metods on a open forum then Your really going to be [censored] when I get around to writing my post with pictures, concerning the way Paul- WoMart packaged a watch I received two weeks ago.
ubiquitous Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 All I can say is... If the package is coming from DW, one could probably drive over it and the contents would be okay....
