mh17 Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Hi guys, just got a Pam 111 h series off ebay and would like to know if it is authentic as it is my first panerai. paid slightly less than market price from a top seller (1000+ stars). Appreciate the help. thanks guys!
Jurgenk Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) This looks reasonable for gen but it would be hard to be 100% without some better pics of the dial and movement finish. If you have paperwork that supports the serial number and an outer cardboard box with a sticker identical to the warranty card then you should be all set even with those pics. mh17 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 unfortunately i only have the pear box and the cosc cert with manuals thats it. which is why i am posting up pics to confirm if this is legit. i'll try to get some better photos up later thx bud
txcollector Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Seems 100% gen. You need a new strap though. That one has all kinds of man juices on it.
FROGMAN Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 "man juices".....that's just nasty...lol
mh17 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 i've already ordered a croc and a buffalo strap. i certainly will not want to think about the man juices when i have this on my wrist. can it be the angle? and if the "+" is too close does that mean it is not authentic? thanks
mastrmindalliance Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Looks all gen to me Enjoy it!
mh17 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 thanks alot guys. Now i can have a good night's sleep =)
blue_sphere Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Need better pics to be sure. The 111 is such a good rep. Why did you spend money on a gen?
dutchguy2 Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Looks all gen to me (movement, dial, case back)
txcollector Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Need better pics to be sure. The 111 is such a good rep. Why did you spend money on a gen? pics are fine. The rep does NOT have that level of detail. Easy to spot.
Watchmeister Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Now those are properly blued screws. Wear that one well.
PeteM Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 movement is 100% authentic. Hmmmmm but not all Authentic Panerai movements are authentic ;) Been dying to say 'Hmmmm'
txcollector Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Hmmmmm but not all Authentic Panerai movements are authentic ;) Been dying to say 'Hmmmm' Pete, are you feeling well? I have no idea what you just said

txcollector Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Me?...... never mate I will say this and maybe it will become clear...... Famous New York Bridge yes, but in this case that's an authentic Panerai OP XI which is correct for the 111H. Better now?
PeteM Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 yes, but in this case that's an authentic Panerai OP XI which is correct for the 111H. Better now? Clever Clogs ...
torobravo Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 From the backside looks like gen. The dial might be manipulated.
