Who services the Frankens with gen Rolex movements?

I'm seriously considering putting in a gen 1570 movement into either a Red Sub or Double Red MBW case. The cost of servicing such a movement always convinced me to stay away but the idea keeps coming back to me.

My question is, as the title suggests, who services them? Any "friends of ours" here knowledgeable enough to service gen Rolex movements?

Where would they source replacement parts, if needed?

Thanks for your input.

the only problem are the parts ;)

even with my Tudor - its a pain in the ass to find the correct date-wheel ...

cheers,

Frank

The wheel or the date wheel overlay?

You're better off with a 1500 Date than a Datejust. Something about the top movement ring on a 1600 DJ not being conducive to a 1680 build. Probably has to do w/ the pie-pan dial on the 1600 DJs

Thanks. I will definitely keep that in mind.

I would have imagined that the movement is the same no matter the watch!
