kasigi Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...65703%26fvi%3D1 Real, or not real? Seems far too cheap and the fact it's supposedly in London but he won't ship to the UK is suspicious.
gran Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 The seller just sold this one on EBAY could it be Neo? and and but its not Neo....Judging from his previous sales he is no horologist thats for sure
kasigi Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 Aye, I checked his history as well, a few law books there.
FxrAndy Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Am i right in thinking that the sel on the LV are three piece on a gen and some of the newer reps, but the SEL on that look one piece
rboehme Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 (edited) This guy is scamming people. Check out this auction from him. The blue sticker is an easy give away. Read the feedback that buyer left(had it's authenticity checked by an ad ). This seller only has 3 feedback from sales. This guy needs to be shut down. Robert Edited October 30, 2006 by rboehme
kasigi Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Posted October 31, 2006 Me:The item is listed as being in London but you will not ship to the UK. Why? Could I collect and have the watch checked at an AD before buying? Him:I am not in uk at the moment. Me:That's OK, I don't mind waiting until you're back in the UK, especially as the item is in London.
NRG Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Two identical feedback posts on the 6th October both at 11:44 also screams scammer to me plus the 16610...
swdivad Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 He just doesn't want to get a visit from the buyer, who may have one of Neil's beautiful knives lol
kasigi Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 It 'sold' but he's relisted the same item. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:B:WNARL:US:12 I wish it was possible to actually put a comment on when reporting stuff to eBay.
rmcsherry Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 He's now selling a PAM 050, I'm no expert but aftermarket accessories and suspect canon pinion screams fake! There is a hard-to-find rep with double release button strap and a different case back - it'd be interesting to find if the SN matches.
retep Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 I`ve no knowledge to say if that pam is fake or not, but on one off the cards is written certifidato and that`s a big nono.
aeroguy Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 It's definately a replica. He has other LV's up for sale too The Gen does not have "LV" on the hologram on the back of the watch. On one of his auctions he shows the "D" serial number. Problem is that "D" serial subs don't have the band model number stamped into the back of the band near the SEL. This one (as do the reps sold here) have the improper stamped model number near the SEL's.
warburg Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 All of his listings have been removed by Ebay.
