Received Goodies from TC, Gen Insert does Fit Pic added

My order came today and I snap some pictures for you to see, I order everything execept the crytsal (planing on getting a Gen one, but TC sent one for free if I do a review of the crystal to which I agree ), bracelet (waiting for better version) and insert (have a gen one)

I tried to install the Gen insert and to my surprise it does not fit at all, I wonder if my insert is for a Seadweller; I will make time next week to this Baby together. on to the pictures

I hope your insert is wrong as this would be a shame. If it was an sd insert the crystal will not fit through it!

The crystal is for a submariner for sure, but the outer diameter of the insert is too big for the bezel

here is a picture of the crystal and the insert together is goes fine over the crystal. I am thinking that the bezel is too small, which is big NO here.....

The OP on that post did not measured the bezel inner lip or tried to install a Gen insert

SD insert is smaller inside, so it's possible you do have a SD insert.

A SD Insert has smaller inner and outer Diameter.

Also a SD Crystal has a smaller diameter than a Sub one.

I think you have a Sub Insert a SD one is too small for a Sub.

To fit a gen Insert is not that easy, it need some force to clip in.

I think it's the usual issue on a Rep Bezel, the Insert needs to grind a bit?!?

Keep us posted buddy on the insert,I too haveva gen insert to fit I hope it goes in ok, I do remember tc saying something about having to press something when fitting insert? Not sure if it was pressing bezel onto case or pressing insert into bezel? I thought fitting insert was literally prising off bezel popping out insert and fitting new insert? I've never fitted one so Im not totally sure

this was on the Sean case, but the gen insert popped in after pressing pretty hard. i never thought it wouldnt fit, it seemed correct.

does yours seem really big? or does it seem like it will go if you are stern with it

Yes but a press is not a tool to do it.
