New PAM 111N question

Just got a new Pam 111N from Josh. If I wind it 15 time how long should I expect it to stay running? It is the new H-factory model. I will try to take some pics today.

I think you need to wind it like 30 times for it to last 24 hours..

It is a hand wind and should be fully wound. Wind it until it can't be wound any more. You will know when, then it should run for 50 hours

excuse my naive question - will that ruin the watch - continually winding it all the way to the end I mean?

Won't ruin the watch. Your crown stops allowing winding once you have fully wound the main spring. And I would agree it is better to give the watch a full wind.

FYI....30 turns gave me 50 hrs of power reserve.

I personally never wind it completely.

No real evidence that it will be good or bad either way.

I just enjoy winding the watch in the morning so I usually wind it 25-30 times.

The watch does stop in the early morning the next day and that's fine.

I figure It will just be less wear and tear on the watch in the long run and hopefully last a bit longer.

You can safely wind it completely even every morning or every other day since PR is over 50 hours. Important thing is to service your rep if you want it to last cause they are not oiled at all and set properly but rep factories.
