Well if you have a holes case then SEL will not be accurate

Well...

The 16600 with holes had SEL.

So a possible way to go and definitely nicer to wear!

I'd rather not have sel, lugholes and open endllinks rock.

Some say Yuki's bracelet is nice. The cartel with a gen clasp works too.

I've seen it in the gen world but it's rare. You have to have the perfect combo of early 2000s stuff or find a watch that's had it's bracelet upgraded.

Any details on where I can find these options?

Well for a 16610 the combination would be quite simple, modern luminova dial&insert, lugholes and SEL bracelet. Exactly the same combo of a modern sub but with lugholes. I.e a P serial.

OK, I think I've got it now! It looks like lug holes existed as late as Y-Serial and SELs appeared as early as early as A-Serial but I've seen 580s on A-Serial watches too, which definitely had "Swiss Made" dials.

Early 16610 subs had the 93150 bracelet with 501 B end links. This would be the R serial from 1987-8 thru the A serial- 1998 or so. Then there was the period with SELs and the case still had lugholes- til 2004 or so. The 16610 T case w/o lugholes came out at that time.

Finding a 93150 can still be done- the early PT SDs had a decent 93150, but the crown on the clasp was a little lacking. 501 B ends have not been repped AFAIK. People swap in gen clasps fairly regularly- this helps with the bad crown emblem on the clasp. VRM would be the place to find 501B ends, or fleabay. Patience is the key
