So I use a Black Diamond Icon headlamp and wear a thick wool hat to keep the battery pack warm. It's 3w and crazy bright, you can actually see to ride fast in the dark. Plus when approaching an intersection and a stopped car, you just look at them and shine the light in their eyes to get their attention. Works great!
