redwatch Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 What do you folks think of this one? More here
gran Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Diving watch?.....nah unless you own a yellow sportscar/bike its impossible
It'sAboutTime Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 I don't care for rubber straps. This one, however:
redwatch Posted March 13, 2012 Author Report Posted March 13, 2012 I was wondering if they were going to do a bracelet for that one. Looks pretty good. Wonder what happened to the white seconds hand on that watch???
It'sAboutTime Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Wonder what happened to the white seconds hand on that watch??? Good question. It needs the white hand. The black one is a little tough to see. Here's the red dial version: There's a better picture floating around but I can't remember where I ran across it.
lhooq Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 I don't like how Omega is turning the rubber straps into billboards for the model. I suppose it makes more sense of you drive a lime-green Porsche with CARRERA plastered onto its flanks. I'm surprised there's no talk about my favorite Omega in all of Baselworld. No, not the Z-33! (Good guess.) I'm talking about the CK2998 remake, straight-lugged Speedy!
Lovecraft Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Good question. It needs the white hand. The black one is a little tough to see. Yeah, no kidding. Until you pointed out that it was black I thought it had fallen off I'm a bit undecided. I think I probably like the original black the best. I like the PO update way, way better.
FxrAndy Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Omga allways pair the hands for the different functions, in the first one that rep posted the hands for the main time are with white frames so the seconds hand is white, all the chrono hands are yellow, in the second one with the bracelet the main time telling hands have black frames hence the black (but stupid) seconds hand,
Utheman Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 The second hand is probably metal/silver and we're just seeing different reflections of it...
StormTooper4 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Just saw this myself and really like it , dont have any yellow in the watch box Should not be to difficult to replicate , but the greyness of the dial might be hard to capture
seeaye Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 looking good! even if the grey is not spot on, a different shade of grey would also be nice right? who says that their grey is the best!
