Rolex Bezel Assembly Question

I am pretty certain they all use the same bezel components

The only difference between the 5513 & 5512 is the rating of the movement & text on the dial (they share the same case), but I have never disassembled a gen 1680, so I am not 100% certain about its construction.

Hi vlydog,

Here is a picture I lifted off the net sometime ago just for reference that says that the bezels are the same for the 5513 and 1680. Don't remember where I got it, so credit to the original source must be given. Hope it helps!!!!

Part numbers for the 5513,5512 and 1680 bezel are all 315-5513. Like JAG said, the 1665 bezel is thicker- but I'd bet it has the same ID.

I found a seller who says his bezel set is number 313-5512-0-1

Watch out for the stock coming from the same source of star time. The bezel assemblies are different. I will document this at a later time

not sure what you mean here.

Please explain

thanks

The fit is not quite the same in the star time bezel assembly. The gen insert or theirs, doesn't fit right. Also a gen or gen like crystal won't fit either and the insert they sell is too small on the inner diameter to fit over any crystal. The crystal ring looks nice, but I have to trim it to fit
