dagdag20
I was ecstatic to say the least to have the package come in the mail yesterday. It truly is a wonderful experience to have The Zigmeister service your watch. Since it is by appointment, your watch has a time slot as to when it will be worked on. It is very efficient so that you are not waiting months on end for your watch to get back to you. I sent out the watch on June 25th and it arrived on July 23rd. This watch is the v3 or v1.5 SuperOcean Heritage which I purchased from another member on here. This is how it looked when I got it: Look at those lume dots as they cam from the factory. Eew! I had originally thought of getting a gen dial and swapping this out since it is the tell-tale sign of the watch. But because of the advice of many people on this forum (special thanks to krpster for advice and the review he did on his own SOH) I decided to have the dial and hands relumed. SO...I contacted the zigmeister an 'lo and behold, there was a slot available! Needless to say, I jumped on it knowing that The Zigmeister is highly regarded in this area. Communication was great and it was such a seamless transaction. I am definitely going to have work done again in the future for my UPO. For those needing work done, don't hesitate with The Zigmeister, truly awesome work. Thanks again! Now, the unveiling of the new and improved SOH...enjoy! Nicely packaged in a styrofoam container: Bubble wrapped inside: Very well packaged: Ta-da..! Need another look? Want more? Let's see it again... Before: After: Thanks The Zigmeister and much love to the rwg community! -D

Thanks S, and don't count on me selling the watch. This will definitely be in my collection for a long time! Hehe Doh! What was I thinking not posting a lune shot when it was the lume that was worked on?? Thanks for the reminder and here it is, charged for 10 seconds for the shot. For being such small dots, they still do fire up like a torch! And a wristie: Now it's time to get an ocean racer strap for this! Anyone got one lying around?? Kal Vilmer
Awesome! I once had a rep sent in for service and had to wait six months for it to return. Then it worked for a month before breaking again. Should've had the Mesiter work on it, oh well, you live and learn i guess. Congrats on the awesome SOH!! sixers_610
yea, you can go a few routes. these are pretty good for the money. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200645015744?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D200645015744%26_rdc%3D1 these are better quality, but they are considerably more. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Watches-/14324/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=staib

davea
He did a SOH Chrono for me...Serviced the movement (it had quit running) and relumed the dial. Super watch now!!
Mike on a bike
I have the mesh in sixers post the cheaper one at $34.99 on my SOH & am very happy with it. Plus it is longer than more expensive ones so if you have large wrist you save by default.(just gets around my 8.65 in wrist)
dagdag20
Time and time again I read on the forums that this watch will make a believer out of you for mesh strap. I finally had the chance to adjust the mesh strap I have for this watch and slapped it on today. I must agree with the concensus that the SOH on mesh is absolutely gorgeous.

The SOH on mesh is IMHO one of the nicest looking designs out there. It's a shame that the "factories" haven't been able to duplicate the Breitiling mesh bracelet. PAM1962
What's wrong with this one? http://www.1-pc8838....ng-p-12132.html I own this bracelet as well as the 'gen' 24 mm Breitling version. Kal Vilmer
then order the 24mm version http://www.1-pc8838....ing-p-8254.html Thanks for the info Adreww, will be getting one of these soon then. How are the SOH that the dealers are carrying nowadays?
dagdag20
The SOH that dealers are selling now is either the V1 or the V3(V1.5). The V1 dial is horrible because the alignment of the P in Superocean to the A in Automatic. The V3(V1.5) has that fixed, but the lume dots are horrible. But as you can see on my SOH, once you get that relumed, it looks stunning. As for the famed V2, dealers are no longer selling it. Mary was able to get a hold of 12 V2's last month, but those went like hotcakes. There are a lot of comparison topics and reviews on te board regarding the SOH. Krpster has a great one which actually influenced me in getting the watch and mod done in the first place. The search function is a great tool. Kinda like using Google. Happy hunting!
krpster
Thanks for the kind words dagdag. Glad I was able to influence your decision. Kal, my review is linked below in my sig. However, I have yet to update with the V1.5 and V3 iterations. They are different so depending on where you buy you may get one of the two. Update is forthcoming, just have to get through moving first.
