New 5513 case set on the bay

Sorry if there's already been a thread on this, but I hadn't seen this before. Ebay seller Mahand is familar to us for his Tudor dials, but I just noticed he's selling case sets for 5513's.

Thoughts? Has anyone bought one? Seems about the same price range as Yuki.

For a guy from Oklahoma City, you got to figure he has some chinese or other eastern connections.

But I agree, that case needs some more finishing- like a lot!

Those are the worst CG's I've seen in a while! The whole case looks like it just came off the milling machine, hard sharp edges, no polish, no chamfered top

Perhaps the idea is for the builder to 'finish the case ' to his own liking, or specification - as we all know, very few cases and CG's are the same after 30-45 years anyhow? There is no such thing as 'THE CG set' or finish

Just a thought - I guess it depends on how accurate the case is dimensionally and its fitness for purpose with gen parts etc.

Certainly pricey....................
