I certainly wish it would, but there hasn't been and update in months. back last year, higho and I exchanged several PM's and at that point he was shooting for September (2012) Nothing happened, he had problems with the folk's that were making the cases, and I don't think those problems have been resolved. It seems like this thread gets resurrected periodically, but nothing new. It seems your correct and none of the "Big boys" want to push something like this into full production.
