edgematic1 Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 Hey guys, As stated in my review the AP Diver V3 has a cyclopse that is too blue compared with the gen. Since not a lot of modders are able to mod this I started thinking about making a new cyclopse with AR. This has been proposed by me to Uwe and he has made some for the ROO's a while ago. But since he has health/family problems I needed to look for another source. Member Big Crown succeeded an amazing project to make some Rolex crystals with AR'ed cyclopses. I contacted him and he is willing to do this. Is there any interest in this? I started this thread @ RG but I wanted to share this to the other fora. The more we are interested in the more we might have a chance to keep the costs down. There will be 2 treasurers, 1 for CONUS/Asia and 1 for EU. All info will be given by the time the sample is finished. Please add your name to the list if you would be interested. - Edgematic (2)
Inertiadrifter Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 How hard is it to switch the cyclops? Because I would love to get one of those
edgematic1 Posted September 16, 2012 Author Report Posted September 16, 2012 The cyclopse is in between 2 plates, the dial and a plate underneath the dial. I already dissassembled the Diver once but I could not find how they were attached. I hope BigCrown will be possible to update us with that.
Londongeorge87 Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 Yes, definitely interested in this. Can't wait. Thanks for this project Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

JJBliss Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Edge, Do you have the link for the RG thread. I participated in that thread, but it seems to be missing....
squashlovernk Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 That really ticks me off that they deleted the original thread, especially when there was OVER 95 people on the list, I hope things work out as I ALREADY sent funds to Big Crown.
edgematic1 Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Posted October 7, 2012 things will work out, don't worry about that
kimerathon1 Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 RG's policy regarding member projects, and asking money up front for the project. I would be interested Edge
edgematic1 Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 RG's policy regarding member projects, and asking money up front for the project. I would be interested Edge Yes, that's the reason why it got deleted. We got all costs covered to get them in production, they will get finished around 3-4 weeks. Will update the thread each time I have more info.
Watchmeister Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Wow, I may have to buy one of these V3's just for the cyclops.
