milesd
I'm just having horrible luck with my 5513 build (actually my 6536/1 build as well)! I've go through 2 5513 cases that don't seem to fit the gen movement. My watchmaker has been very patient but I can tell he is getting frustrated with all the parts that aren't working correctly. I bought a Josh case but I couldn't get past the stubby lugs. I then bought a case that was supposed to be a MBW but it turned out it wouldn't fit the gen movement. I'm getting frustrated and just want to finish the project. I've even considered Yuki's Pointed Crown Guard case, but he has not replied to any of my emails. I was looking today on InGod's site and I noticed he has a 5513 case: I'm not a pro, but what do you guys think? I'd only use the midcase as I have a gen crown and tube as well as a yuki caseback and MBW bezel assembly. Thanks!
FxrAndy
Look like crap to me, look at the back of the CGs, if that is how they left them then what can you expect with the rest of the case
denimhead
I have to agree with Andy, that case looks sadly very poor. In reality If you've invested in a Gen movement I'd save up and buy a good case, it makes sense as a long term investment if you ever decide to sell it on. The best cases in my humble opinion are from www.vintagewatchesmq.com Good Luck with the build DH
tmg
Cartel and MBW's case have never been prime candidates for gen movements transplants. Yuki, J&W(Phong) or NDT cases would be your best bet, but even then there are no 100% guarantees; my Phong 5517 case still didn't fit my gen 1570 movement without some work. seafoam
It looks like the bezel insert is going to fall out. Muy mal!
By-Tor
Awful crown guards. How can they always screw them up? 10 years and nothing has changed.
