correctime Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 AWESOME FRANKEN COLLECTION Brother. Now THAT'S how it's done. Wear them with pride and in good health. Thanks for sharing.
danza1812 Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Some awesome pieces there for sure, I can't imagine what patience it has taken collecting all those parts, I've done a few Frankens and I know the painful experiences involved and the waiting Is a killer! Well done.
panerai153 Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Very nice!! What movements are you using in the 16710,1675 and Explorer?
dcpark87 Posted October 23, 2012 Author Report Posted October 23, 2012 Very nice!! What movements are you using in the 16710,1675 and Explorer? Thank you for the kind words. Modified Swiss 2836-2 incorrect hand stack. Hoping to see a unicorn (clone 3185) someday... 1
milesd Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 I'm curious, are you cutting the dial feet to install on ETA movements?
danza1812 Posted October 24, 2012 Report Posted October 24, 2012 I'm curious, are you cutting the dial feet to install on ETA movements? My TC 16610 has a gen dial and I cut the dial feet to fit it to the ETA 2824.
dcpark87 Posted October 28, 2012 Author Report Posted October 28, 2012 love it :-) Thank you, but it doesn't compare with your collection.

Gaber Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 Wow thats a nice collection I like the explorer And the Submariner LV the best to me
cjjoyce1 Posted December 19, 2012 Report Posted December 19, 2012 One tinsey critique. You need to make sure your 1675 24 hour hand tracks the hours (like at 2pm - it points at 14 if your bezel has the triangle at "12") like you've set your explorer. The 1575 movement does not have a settable 24 hand. It's an instant "tell" if it isn't set right. What an awesome collection! I bet the hunt for parts was nearly as fun as building and owning them!
