docdoowop Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 52mm Leviathan One whole pound of steel 55mm with the crown and pushers. Superbely well built and finished but.... is it just ridiculously too big?
asciwhite Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 Well.... It depends on how big the person wearing it is.... There is plenty bodybuilders out there now that "needs" big watches I would be lobsided with a watch like that...... One hand dragging the pavement *lol*
jeff g Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 Regardless of the size of the watch you displayed...it is very fugly.
Ronin Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 Since people come in all sizes. Here are simple (functional) guidelines. 1.) If the lugs and/or bezel extend past the width of your wrist, the watch is too big. 2.) If the size of the watch causes the bracelet/strap to extend straight or near straight down the side of your wrist, the watch is too big. The strap/bracelet should curve off the head of the watch, down and around your wrist *(note: some new leather straps need to break in first to obtain this curve)
Mike on a bike Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 I have something around that size come to think of it 52 by 20mm you know even at my size & wrist down to an 8.25 it is a tough sell. PS I wish it came in a 46 it is real sharp.
Guest Watchgeek Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 I like the look of the watch I think that's way to big though 45mm tops for me
maxman Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 I feel people should wear whatever they want to wear. But I would be embarrassed to wear that monstrosity. Even for a big guy that watch would most likely look silly. But thats just my opinion. If you like the way watch feels and looks on your wrist.....fine. This guy actually thinks this watch looks good on his wrist
