folex
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=110990758855&index=2&nav=SEARCH&nid=69138737515 Came across this while browsing. Is it too good to be true? Rep or gen? A nice case for a project if its gen. Just gotta get those gen hands and dial from a member, and a swiss eta 7750 possibly to put it all together

cc33
You were just told its a rep yesterday and today you went onto trf told them you bought it and asked how you can get a 7750 in the case!? Why would you do that? It's stuff that's ok to talk about here but not there. It's a rep case so you can put an a7750 in it with a rep dial and rep hands, that's it, a gen dial will not fit onto a 7750 mvmt and a gen movement will not fit the case. cc33
I just realized that you might have just been asking about the listing and not the one who bought it and proceeded to ask about it on trf pardon me if that's the case.
Craig88
I'm not sure either way with those crappy pics but if it is rep why the heck would you pay 770$ for it? Am I missing something? They obviously bought it believing it was a gen...
alligoat
That serial # M258117 told me it was rep immediately- pity the fool who thought it was gen!
panerai153
That's the problem with Ebay, unless you know what you are buying, you are ripe for the picking!! notice the seller never said this was genuine, just that he bought it from and estate sale (Yeh!!!) What the unaware buyer does is assume it's the real thing. look at the seller, his other items are a bunch of auto parts. Look at his feedback, mostly guitar parts and bicycle stuff, lots of reds and greys. anyone who had done their homework would run not walk away from this seller. I have a hard time feeling sorry for people who don't do their homework, think they are getting a great bargain, and then get scammed. Ebay is a mine field, and if yopu are planning to go through, you better have a map!!
