Sbybbuser
Just received this piece from pbdad this morning. It was quite a wait. Due to holiday and stuff. Here's the mod pbdad done to the watch: case and bracelet aging bezel aging gen crown cg shaped lug holes drilled for 2mm springbars 2mm springbars aged lumed dial markers and hands tangerine gmt hand mod right side lug modded to flush the profile under bezel. Here's the finished product:
freddy333
Except for the obvious sanding marks all over the case, it looks good. If you are comfortable removing the works & crystal from the case, this would be a good candidate for Nanuq's famous antiquing process (put it in a coffee can with alot of coinage & shake until done). Ueno
I don't understand the obvious sanding marks all over the case and bracelet. why not just wear the hell out of it... It gets a much better aging look...
seafoam
Those marks are obviosly from a 1996 green scratch pad from Scotch-Brite or possible from a generic brand, hard to tell. The grooves are a bit shallower so maybe generic. HA HA. Just kidding man. I really dot see the big deal with the fabriocated scratches but hey, what do I know. Looks fantastic bro and wear it well. denimhead
Congratulations on a very nice piece, pbdad's done a sterling job on the dial and hands. Can i have a caseback shot please? my only advise would be to maybe take the angle of the case steeper under the bezel. as a rule of thumb there is an outer groove on the case back which acts as a guide to take the excess material down too as per gen. Here's a couple of shots of a case i've just done. The other upgrade i'd consider is a flat '4' bezel. nyguy(maker of 6263 bezel) just started selling one on ebay which looks very good. Well it well!
