Archetypal Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 Im with you - thats bloody awesome. You know my feelings on Steinhart.... they've 'developed' some of the best most iconic designs, coming up with great quality affordable alternatives, true QC and general peace of mind for the buyer. Personally im still looking for the ocean vintage military in PVD - Anyone got one and wants to sell it - PM me!
danielv2000 Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 That is very nice indeed. What's the price on this particular model?
sgtguk Posted March 20, 2013 Author Report Posted March 20, 2013 It's sold out d but from what I can gather about $ 400 ish outside the EU (no vat) Swiss Eta, not a bad price I reckon !
stanislas Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 Steinhart. Gunter (owner), very flexible. If we could find between forum member, I don't now let say 30-50 persons who want Steinhart Snowflake, I am sure he could made even a special series with custom case back engrave and limited edition numbers and choice of movement and design of it( may be Sapphire case back as mine). I have same LE Pilot from Steinhart. Awesome quality and reasonable price. Not fast production, but unique pieces. What do you think chaps ? I am vote YES!!!! SNOWFLAKE!!!!

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

sgtguk Posted March 21, 2013 Author Report Posted March 21, 2013 If you reckon Gunter would go for it I'd certainly be up for one too let's see how much interest this thread gets and if so one of us contact him and go from there, could be a really nice piece !
Mike on a bike Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Let's find Legend he might go for it.

devilseam Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Thats sweet, had a couple of Steinharts's and they are great for the money.
ldegeneve Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 The only thing that keeps me away from these are the size. 42mm for a sub homage. Too big! Let's keep it classic!
Jkay Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 is getting Eta movements for them a good quality wp Snowflake homage is long overdue BAH .. there's nothing wrong with some nice Selitta SW200s in these.
Mike on a bike Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Different strokes ,I find the 42mm just a tad to small 43mm would better but that is just me. I am ok with SW200 if it brings cost down.
oring Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 BAH .. there's nothing wrong with some nice Selitta SW200s in these. I am ok with it, all i care is the snowflake hand !
sgtguk Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 BAH .. there's nothing wrong with some nice Selitta SW200s in these. Great like your thinking mate, I'd love it if we could get this off the ground and I make that 6 so far ! Does anyone here have one on order already via wus ?
calatrava Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I would be interested in one as well. I'm currently on the waiting list for the Arctic Ocean.
