PeteM Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Most of these babies are 200K + there sweet but alittle out of my price range. Lol maybe one day when i hit the Powerball Jackpot. Dont be daft you can pick most of them up for around $50K.... you wont need the Powerball for that mate...Just a quick security van heist or bank job and one of them can be yours :) When you get out that is
krpster Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Look like renderings to me. Wonder if the final product will look as sleek. One of their earlier versions looks not bad in the flesh.
ressmeplz Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 One of my dreams HYT-H2-watch-movement.jpg
hambone Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 Very interesting looking watch. It is a bit novel and complex. I prefer The simplicity of a Panerai. You know the time with a Pam in a shorter time Span.
Legend Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 500th post and I wasted it on legendkiller! Ha - just joking my friend! WooHoo! lol what a thing to say! congrats pal!
EEngels Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 I love this - They use a 2824-2 as the movement, but they separate the movement from the hands with a titanium plate. The hands are moved by magnets that work THROUGH the plate. The hands float in a liquid suspension. So, let's see: you've got liquid AND magnets in close proximity to a movement that is the natural enemy of liquid and magnets. I love it.
redwatch Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 Just get the app for iPhone https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ressence/id386694149?mt=8 1
fraggle42 Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 Thats cool. I'd love to see how they made it. Looks like they extended the hour pin to the back of the watch so it's secured by the hour pin and the movement is free to rotate once per day. C'mon franken makers! Reproduce this with a normal dial with roman numerals. (How you'd wind it, err...!)
PeteM Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Here is a review of the watch http://www.ablogtowatch.com/ressence-type-3-liquid-filled-watch-hands-on-2/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Ablogtowatch+%28ABLOGTOWATCH%29&utm_content=Yahoo!+Mail Only 23K in Euros
whoopy12 Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 This is a demo of an earlier version: pretty snazzy
