prdubis Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Just received this one from Connie/Mrs King. It's a stunning watch but the insert is definitely not ceramic.Anyone knows how to fix the glide lock issue? It just keeps on sliding and doesn't block :-(:-)
mymanmatt Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Be sure it's pushed down flush with the clasp, that locks it in position
Mike on a bike Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Pr looks nice hope clasp works out.
panerai153 Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 honestly, I like the older 16610's better. The only new Rolex I like is the ceramic GMT. I tried the DSSD twice and sold both of them.
SSTEEL Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 That looks like a non-ceramic model, which in theory is an older model TT sub, which with gold dial lettering, the date wheel should be champaign, not white. Thats my understanding anyways. As to the Glidelock, sadly this is a known, common issue my friend, its a bit his and miss whether or nor one works as intended.
prdubis Posted April 24, 2013 Author Report Posted April 24, 2013 That's what I thought but it has been sold to me as the latest ceramic version...Does maxi dial version exist with metallic insert?
prdubis Posted April 24, 2013 Author Report Posted April 24, 2013 On these two pics, the engravings don't look like the ones on the metallic insert...
prdubis Posted May 4, 2013 Author Report Posted May 4, 2013 Just saw the gen at an AD, the blue is not so metallic but looks more like plastic, and dial is blue, not purple. It's definitely not the same blue as the white gold and blue one.Envoyé de mon iPad à l'aide de Tapatalk HD
