This guy bought this dial and hands on vrm a little while ago for 1700$ and now he wants 5000$ for the hands alone with no dial.. I can't even comprehend this behaviour

Here's another, 3-4000$ dial I can't remember but I considered buying it when it went on sale a few months ago on vrm, now the buyer wants 17k! Shameful really.

There is an eBay store called "Three Gold Brothers." They buy factory reject Franck Muller dials and resell them to suckers on eBay for the full list price of a pristine service dial.

I remember a while back when one of the big dealers bought an early Sub on eBay for something like $20-30K, then sold it on VRM for >$50K within a couple of days.  Arbitrage works both ways.

You know, it is greed on the buyers side just as it is on the sellers side. The buyer is greedy for the pristiege to have a vintage watch and the buyer is just more than willing to clean up by selling a high priced part.
