cc33
This guy bought this dial and hands on vrm a little while ago for 1700$ and now he wants 5000$ for the hands alone with no dial.. cc33
Here's another, 3-4000$ dial I can't remember but I considered buying it when it went on sale a few months ago on vrm, now the buyer wants 17k! Shameful really. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Super-Rare-Vintage-Factory-Original-Rolex-Cosmograph-Dial-for-6265-6263-14K-18K?item=281058137438&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D2%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7225083845601567170#ht_1657wt_689
Jkay
There is an eBay store called "Three Gold Brothers." They buy factory reject Franck Muller dials and resell them to suckers on eBay for the full list price of a pristine service dial. The world is full of assholes. sgtguk
Never ceases to amaze me how the human race can act to fuck each other at any given opportunity as a race we need to seriously look at how we treat our fellow beings.............and I need another Jim Beam
fraggle42
If we all send them offers of $5 with a note telling them they're gold diggers... It probably wouldn't make them pause for thought for a second
lhooq
I remember a while back when one of the big dealers bought an early Sub on eBay for something like $20-30K, then sold it on VRM for >$50K within a couple of days. Arbitrage works both ways.

jpz5142
You know, it is greed on the buyers side just as it is on the sellers side. The buyer is greedy for the pristiege to have a vintage watch and the buyer is just more than willing to clean up by selling a high priced part. cjjoyce1
Well it wouldn't work if P.T. Barnum's adage of "there's a sucker born every minute" didn't apply
