Guest TTK
Just to let members know that I am going home on 6th December for Christmas holidays.......I have an open 6 month ticket and no confirmed return date....I may be back here between Christmas and New Year and then again maybe not....! Everyone who has ordered from me and who orders up to 4th Dec will have their item sent prior to my journey....there may be one or two outstanding issues that I will obviously resolve upon my return. A few other issues that I would like to address here...and I hope you'll indulge me. 1. Paypal......unfortunately due to over zealous ...malicious or impatient members....this year I have lost two Paypal accounts......I will be reviewing my decision as to whether to continue using Paypal in the New Year.....they are becoming extremely aggressive towards the replica business......with the ability to "fine' you $500 per counterfeit item.....I'm not sure that I want to put myself in the position of 'owing' fines to an organisation such as Paypal.....! 2. The question of "MBW" or "WBM" replicas........after the success of the Noobmariner and pursuant to many requests for ETA and vintage models......I decided to offer the Holy Grail of Ralex reps......MBWs...I thought that I would bring them into stock and offer them at a reasonable price.........after careful consideration I've decided that I wll not offer these after I have sold the current 3x I have in stock......it's not because they are not available or not beautiful watches.....it's just that I have to field so many different e-mails regarding them......members asking everything from 'are the SELs correct"....to 'can I fit genuine tubes and screws"....and so on and so on....I now understand why Maria and others charge more for those....there is too much work involved with them. The other aspect of the matter is that I don't really care whether they do or not.....I've never been a Ralex fan and if I continue to offer these for sale....then I'm going to sucked into a 'specialised' arena where I don't want to go.......sorry chaps....you'll have to get your MBWs elsewhere. 3. The question of new models......I think this has been a brilliant year for the introduction of new and better reps than any other year ...and I hope that trend will continue in 2007......I for one will continue to seek out the best and most unusual items that I can find. I wish you all a festive Christmas and if you don't celebrate Christmas....well celebrate something......! Edited November 27, 2006 by TTK

KB
Have a good and safe journey home Neil and of course a very Merry Christmas. Be ye our angel unawares If after Kirk ye bide a wee, There's some would like to speak to ye, If after Kirk ye rise and flee We' all seem cauld and still to ye. The one that's in the seat with ye Is stranger here than ye, maybe. All here have got their fears and cares, Add ye your soul unto our prayers, Be ye our angel unawares. Pugwash
I am shockingly unsurprised at your not stocking MBWs. The myth has surpassed the reality. Oh, and if you're in Scotland over xmas, let's get together for a beer.
turkey
I haven't had the opportunity to order from you, but I hope you have a safe and relaxing trip. It's a shame to hear that you decided not to continue to carry MBWs. I was looking forward to seeing what other you were going to offer. That said, I hope you have an enjoyable Christmas and New Years.
