hi chris, like you i was away for a couple of years and on a whim decided to sign in to see if i was still active and lo and behold within a few weeks i was right back in the swing of things and picked up the blue ceramic rollie (it truly never ends)....i was thinking about selling off some of the watches i purchased 5+ years ago as well....as far as what they may be worth? i can't imagine that they have appreciated in any way (they are reps after all) so set what you consider a fair price and i am sure the market will determine whether you're right or not...in any event, welcome back!

first i will say that i have been and still am a windows PC guy...i could never justify paying the extra $$ for an apple PC....however.....i won an ipad 2 a couple of months ago at a fund raiser and i have to say i am impressed....the app store alone makes it a cut above any other tablet (imho)... one other thing.....i also own an itouch solely for my music library and one day i had it out of its case (it won't fit properly in my dock) and accidentally dropped it and shattered its glass face.....i checked on the internet and there really was no way for me to replace the screen properly.....i learned that the apple store could fix it for $149. so i resigned myself to paying it....i showed up at the store and after registering, the cust svc rep came and asked me what happenned.....after i explained he said it would be $149 to replace it and i agreed....he went to the back of the store and returned with another one and said that it was no charge! i was shocked to say the least....but from that moment on i was won over....i drank the apple kool aid and am now a lifelong fan....i could never imagine best buy or any other vendor for that matter making things right like that... so, my recommendation is go with the ipad !!

those were some fun times on TRC....TTK vs Natalie (or TTK vs just about anyone) was entertanment at its best...and the usual who has the best sub (i'll admit, that was me as well)....paul with his "carzy" sale and frogmariner....i still have my first sub from river somewhere though its been pretty beaten up and no longer works...its been (and still is) a fun ride....

i ordered one as well and rec'd an email confirmation...it would be really cool if this went through but somehow i have my doubts

hi everyone, i am a long time rep buyer going way back to the days of TRC. I'm more of a reader than a poster and my last rep (GMT II) purchased was from Josh a couple of years ago. That said, a piece of the lume fell out and after making a couple of inquiries to either have the dial re-lumed or fixed i decided to check locally to see if there was something that could be done. lo and behold i discovered A2Z Watch and Clock repair just 15 minutes from where i live. I called and spoke to the owner (Igor) and he was very receptive to working on my rep. I went to his place of business and within 15 minutes, he disassembled my watch, re-glued the lume (which was floating around the inside of the dial) and I was on my way home. all for a VERY reasonable cost. This forum, and some of the other forums have saved me many $$ over the course of the 10+ years that i have been buying reps and i just wanted to share my good fortune with everyone. google the business name and you can check out his website. I believe he also does business via mail/ups/fed-ex, etc.. neal

forget the pics guys, i am no photographer! that said, i order the asian po black dial w/ orange numerals from angus a little over a week ago and it arrived today and is on my wrist as i type this.... all i can say is that it is all i can ask for as its a beautiful, heavy, damn hot watch! it surpasses all my expectations....it may not be the ultimate, but you can not do any better for the price... and i want to also thank angus for politely answering all my questions prior to purchase and for providing excellent service and a quality product....i highly recommend him!!

i just picked it up at the post office and have finally finished unwrapping it (whew, that was thoroughly packaged!!) and i have to say without a doubt it is one of the best reps i own.... my photo skills are nil so i won't even attempt it but i can say without hesitation that the pics on Jos' site do not even come close to doing it justice...the fit and finish are outstanding.... thank you Josh for the usual impeccable service, a quality product, and price that can't be beat! neal

i suppose that because my eyes aren't what they used to be i don't really care about the CHS... but.... is it me or does that non-symmetric rehaut engraving stand out (thanks by-tor)...in particular the rollie crown above the 12 not lining up with the indice....
