CptTripps Posted August 25, 2013 Author Report Posted August 25, 2013 Looks great. How did he doing matching the gen lume on dial with hands?? The hand lume is a tad 'off' but you only notice it after the lume starts to fade a bit. I'm not sure if he touched it at all. I was thinking about "turbo charging" it myself, but I'm going to hold off. I have a few people interested in buying the watch from me already. I'll let one of them monkey with it. :-) Overall, I'm real pleased with how it came out. I was thinking of keeping it, but I really don't need 3 Franken-ROOs. Heck, I may not even need 2.
denisegold Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 In your one pic it looks like the dial is not flush with the tach ring?
gtanak Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 Did u buy that franken panda off a member? Or had it made by domi too?
Guest Daytona1984 Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 nice :-) domi is simply the best!
CptTripps Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 I'm getting ready to list this watch for sale. I just don't see myself wearing it as much as I thought I would.Shame that I waited so long for it...but that's the name of the game, right?
Motoman4540 Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Beautiful! Out of curiosity, how long did it take to get back?

CptTripps Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 Beautiful! Out of curiosity, how long did it take to get back?It was an orchestration for sure. After he had it, I think it was about 8 weeks...but it took about 8 to get it to him. Not being able to ship directly to Germany was a big issue.
devilseam Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 It finally arrived then Doug! Congrats mate, looks a beauty.

jpohl402 Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 I just noticed something, looking back at this thread - i know its a gen dial, but arent the subdials supposed to be grey?
Eppenger Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 Excellent watches, I wanna have one.
nlnlnlnene Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Is this for sale? Anyone have a franken AP for sale?
CptTripps Posted January 3, 2014 Author Report Posted January 3, 2014 I didn't end up selling it...or the Panda I have. I'm wearing this one a lot more than I thought I would, and the Panda has a small scratch in the crystal so I need to get that replaced before I sell it. On the dials: I thought they were supposed to be grey too, but these are clearly white. I'm also 100% sure that it's an authentic dial, so I may have something special/rare here. No clue.
marvinchronomat Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 I'm sorry but what does LWO movement means
