fraggle42 Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Great pics, I love a good movement macro shot myself. Here's a few Damn nice shots, what lights and studio setup do you use? I've been trying to get good shots through a trinocular stereo microscope. The view through the eyepiece is fantastic but the view through the camera is horrible. Lack of contrast, poor focus, foggy, just naff. I'll persist until I crack it (or crack it )
cc33 Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Those aren't my pics, they are from the net. I can send you the link to the owner so you can ask him, I'm not sure his set up

cc33 Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 Thats not bad, I bet if you can get more lighting in there somehow, the image will get sharper. Here's the link http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=176989 It also helps that the movement he used is a patek hand made work of art. The level of finishing is ridiculous
cc33 Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 Just took a few of my own, best I can do with an iphone and macro lens, old roamer v72 doesn't have the same level of finishing unfortunately
PeteM Posted October 9, 2013 Author Report Posted October 9, 2013 iPhone !!!!! Thats outrageous.....you are going in my black book...
