Whatch drop

Hi all!

I was wearing my 42mm PO great for about year and a half untill..... a bracelet came undone and the watch slammed on the floor face down. Needles to say the movement is trashed.

Took it to my local watch shop and they would replace this ETA movement for the price of almost brand new rep.

What do you guys think I should do? Scrap the watch and get a new one? or is there anyway do get a ETA 2824-1?

Any reply would be greatly appreciated!

Indeed, how do you know? I dropped this one 2 stories onto concrete and it kept ticking.

Yeah mate but that was a Rolex, built tougher ya know

I took it to a local watchmaker. He opened it up and told me that several pieces weee broken inkluding spring and jewels.

Or you can break a chair over it, that works too...
